Outside bundle

Hi there, like many others, I have been charged extra on top of my bundle.

I have only called one person this month, whose number begins with +31639. This is a normal mobile number in the Netherlands, but I have been charged €11 extra for calling and texting them.

I still have 91 minutes left on my texts / calls.

Why have I been charged for calling/texting this number?

It seems my phone was sending the messages to their foreign number, as this was the one they messaged me with.

Even if I set their Dutch number to be the default, it replied to the wrong one. Lesson learned 😬
